The Truth About Passive Income (that no one wants you to know)

There is a certain truth about passive come that no one wants you to know. And I am about to exploit it - so hold on to your hats. But before I do - let me clearly state that I am a passive income nerd. I believe in it. I know it is real. And that it is the only way to true freedom. That kind of freedom no one can fuck with. The freedom to do what you want, where you want, how you want, with who you want, whenever you want. That freedom is hard to find. The kind of freedom to go on vacation without asking a boss. The freedom of playing golf on a random Thursday [...]

Secure Your Financial Safety

There are many reasons to drive passive income, multiple income sources, and online business. But the biggest reason of all is to secure your financial safety. We all want to feel safe. One of Maslow's hierarchy of needs is safety. It's something that the brain, heart, and soul need in life. And safety means different things to different people. For some - it's physical safety. Others - it's emotional. For many - it's financial. And if there is one thing that this COVID-19 driven world showed us, is financial security is at the utmost top of the list. And when you depend on your employer for that check, your financial safety is in the hands of someone else. At will. [...]

That is why building multiple sources is important. It increase INCOME, but better yet - it is a fail safe in case one leaves. Think about your current situation - your JOB. The Lie of Work Life Balance

In a former life, I did consulting work for employee benefits/wellness programs for employer groups. Having a background in health and wellness, I absolutely loved this gig. I have such a passion for helping people take control of their own life - whether physically, mentally, occupationally - whatever, and each and every day I got to talk to people on how to take their life and organization to the next level. But there was one thing that bugged me that was a common practice. It was the conversation about work life balance. I heard it over and over at nearly every single company I talked to. "We like to give our employees a good work life balance.""Work life balance is [...]

Create The Vision Of Your Life

I recently took a long weekend with my family to go camping. It was a wonderful weekend of family, friends and fun. I woke up on Monday morning, packed up, and went for a nice little walk in the beautiful surroundings while my kids went and played at the park one last time. And I had a moment of clarity that was beautiful. There I was, walking in the beautiful mountain sunshine, cup of coffee in the hand, breathing the fresh air - realizing that this has always been part of my vision. Monday morning, not a care in the world. Now - there is more to my vision that I am working toward, but this was a big piece. [...]

Quest For Upper Management

"And if I keep going on the path I am going, I should be upper management in 2 - 3 years". That is literally out of someone's mouth over the weekend. Before that, he was spouting about working 60 hour weeks, over worked, under paid, doesn't love his job, but pays the bills, same old song and dance. And to think he wants to do that for 2 to 3 more years, to get upper management, to be MORE over worked, MORE under paid, MORE job that he doesn't love to get MORE bills he needs to pay. I DON'T GET IT. Look - if that style is for you - all the more to you. I know people that [...]

My Flipping Lifestyle

This site is dedicated to passive income and online business. This means creating multiple, scalable, low touch revenue sources that bring in the income needed to live a life of freedom. But sometimes - you just need money. I have been living a flipping life since college. Whenever I needed money, I would sell something - and get money. To this day - whenever I am looking for a quick buck, I always have flipping in my back pocket to generate the income needed to get by. While not scalable, and I do not recommend for a full time online business, if you have not yet explored the world of flipping, retail arbitrage, garage selling, or anything related  - you [...]

My Boss Denied My PTO

Look - I know it happens, but it really pissed me off. My boss denied my PTO. I was suppose to go out for a extended weekend with my wife's cousin for his bachelor party. A conference came up that my boss was me onsite for, which requires Sunday travel for an 8a Monday morning attendance, so he denied my PTO. I am not that close with my wife's cousin, and saving the $600 bucks for the weekend isn't all that bad - but to think that someone has that sort of control over me really pisses me off. To have someone else dictate your life - that is not freedom. That is being someone's dancing monkey - and I [...]

Investing for Income

I love investing. When you create a passive income strategy, investing is one of the best pieces to that strategy. Think about it - what is passive income? To me - it is income coming in with doing little work, or doing a lot of work up front, then minimal effort for income. It's maximizing money, while minimizing effort. That is the holy grail to me. Let me sit and do nothing - while money churns. Investing is just that - while not for the faint of hear. Sure - you can write an ebook or make a course and sit on a beach and have money roll in. I know I have that weapon in my toolkit. And this [...]

Put In The Work

Look - I know you are busy. I get it. I live it. I have a 1 year old and a 3 year old that require most all my attention - that is after working a close to 10 hour day every day. It is also what drives me. But it is a drag - I get it. But if I hear one more person tell me they don't have time to do anything on the side, I am seriously going to lose my sh*t. Seriously - just do it. Don't sit there and tell me you don't have time, or that you could, but you don't have time, or that you are too busy, or anything else of that [...]
